The building work has been moving fast here at the distillery, as we prepare for the arrival of our brand new still.

As you can probably tell from the photos our office store cupboard is no more (meaning we’ll have to find somewhere else to store our ever-growing collection of branded clothing) and walls have been knocked down to create a bit of space. A new (much shorter) brick wall has been build for everything to sit on, and the whole room has been tiled – by David, for the record, despite Aaron’s attempt to take the credit in this picture! 

This week we’re running water pipes and electric cables into the area, meaning we can start distilling on the new still the minute it arrives this Thursday! In the meantime, we do need a bit of help from you…

Our still needs a name. We were thinking about naming it after one of our culinary heroes – Marco, Gordon, Ainsley (ok, maybe not the last one) – but any better ideas will definitely be taken into consideration! You might even win a bottle of gin…



When we launched The Tipsy Food Company we were keen that it would give something back. We were thinking of ways we could do something meaningful and we were thinking about like minded charities, given we are all about liquid it seemed sensible to think about water. We are delighted to have partnered with Dig Deep, we are in awe of the work they do and really pleased that we can play our part.

By buying just one bottle of gin, you can provide a clean water tap to a school. For a child, this could mean the difference between dropping out of primary school and completing their full education.
