Next on our ‘meet the team’ series is our latest recruit, Steve. An experienced chef with an impressive pedigree, Steve joined the team back in May, and has had a massive impact on our drinks offering already. 

Having always wanted to be a chef, Steve went to catering college as soon as he could at sixteen, before spells at Michelin starred restaurants across Kent and London. He settled at the Kentish Hare, working under the famous Tanner Brothers, before deciding to join the Tipsy team, and our sister event company Four Gables.

Day to day, Steve is in charge of operations and logistics – managing all of our stock and making sure all of your orders get shipped quickly. He also makes use of all his foodie knowledge and experience in helping to develop our extensive cocktail offering – his recipes will be available to all in this year’s cocktail book.

Favourite Tipsy drink? Believe it or not, our “Not so Tipsy” 0% Gin.

Cocktail of choice? A classic mojito, made better by our honey rum!

Ideal day off? Gillingham home matches. A bit of suffering is good for the soul!

Most recognisable feature? You’ll always hear my car arriving from a mile away. 

How would the team say about you? Rubbish at Fantasy football! (Yes, I’m bottom of the league)

When we launched The Tipsy Food Company we were keen that it would give something back. We were thinking of ways we could do something meaningful and we were thinking about like minded charities, given we are all about liquid it seemed sensible to think about water. We are delighted to have partnered with Dig Deep, we are in awe of the work they do and really pleased that we can play our part.
