Way back in August, when we were drafting ideas for our signature spirits range, our team of chefs wanted a special ingredient that would give our rum a distinctive, sweet and delicious flavour. After plenty of searching (and a good deal of tasting too!), we stumbled across something we’d never even heard of – Virunga honey, imported all the way from Rwanda! This fascinating jungle honey takes its unique flavour from the eucalyptus and clover plant species in the Virunga rainforests, and gives the perfect delicate sweetness to our classic spiced rum.

When we launched The Tipsy Food Company we were keen that it would give something back. We were thinking of ways we could do something meaningful and we were thinking about like minded charities, given we are all about liquid it seemed sensible to think about water. We are delighted to have partnered with Dig Deep, we are in awe of the work they do and really pleased that we can play our part.
